A bit of a follow-up from the previous report. Where are we at now?
Wallpaper wise, nothing much has happened. Hopefully we can start at ground level this Thursday (the only day help is available for me), but that day I may be the one not showing up! I’m crossing my fingers.
Paint has been applied to 2 out of 3 bedrooms upstairs and it’s looking good! The colours will be from the greige line of colours. Tender greige as the light colour, and a darker version (forgot the name) for the long wall in the living room + the wall behind the stairs on ground level. Also, many of the window frames have had their first layer of paint and the next layer is standing by. Thanks, mom! :-)
I myself have been mainly busy with the stairs. It has been fully sanded and a friend and myself have applied sealant to all placed in need of the stuff. Well, almost all placed. I’d say the stairs are 90% prepared for the paint job I have planned.
So far, so good. Still planning to move over in the week of July 13th!
